When you think about a city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, what comes to mind? Lots of shopping complexes right here. So Kuala Lumpur is well known as Shopping havens like Time square, Chinatown, Central market and the many luxurious shopping complexes. As this year is visiting Malaysia 2007, shopping complexes have become the place which must be going by the foreigners.
But what had been happened to our shopping complexes? I feel frightening when I read the news that 30 guns shot by the robbers last Saturday night at the Poh Kong goldsmith shop Subang Parade shopping mall. What happened for the visitors when there were visiting the shopping complex on that time? According to the shop owner there (other shop owner), customers went inside their shop so that they could run away from any injured or being shot by the guns. The robbery did not take other visitor’s life here into consideration at all. So if this continued to be happened again there is no safer to go to any shopping complex even though to catch a movie in the cinema.
This is not only the case happened in the shopping complex, before this we used to come across that snatch thieves always happened at the shopping complex car park. Women always become the target of the robbers or being raped by rapist. Once the visitors feel that their life being threaten If they go to any shopping complexes in Malaysia. They will stop for going to shopping if unnecessary. Hence the business for the shopping complexes will go downhill because the visitors do not want to come
By promoting visit Malaysia 2007 I think we need to improve our security system at shopping complex in order to assure the safety for the visitors. We definitely have to do something to make the visitors feel confidence enough to come to shopping. I strongly suggested that CCTV or screening checks should be fixed on it in every corner of shopping complex. By having this security will immediately come to the place to give the protection to the visitors. Beside this it will increase the number of visitors to come over shopping again. This is something must do in order to gain back the confidence while they come to shopping. We expected 20 millions of visitors for this year in conjunction to the visit Malaysia is no longer a dream anymore by enforcing our security system at shopping mall.

I feel frightening when I read the news. You can't imagine the situation...hundreds of shoppers ran for their lives when five robbers and three security guards exchange of fire later inside Poh Kong jewellery store. As this year is visiting Malaysia 2007, I think the authorities concerned should enforcing security system at shopping mall.
hmm.... i read the news as well.... terrible... horrible... it make me think twice before i need to go for a shopping center now. Things happen unexpectedly, you can't control. Just be aware and take precautions of yourself, especially ladies...
Robbers wouldn't care how much pain you'll feel, and how much you was being hurt. Their mind-set is out of control, which they can do whatever crazy stuff they want. Is really scary when this thing happened....
p/s: it was much more attractive to me when u had uploaded photo here for us to view... =P
