It is very obvious that people will tend to borrow money once they are having financial problem with illegal moneylenders. Borrower knows once they fail to settle their debts, they will be threatening badly by Ah Longs such as your property being pain in red colors. The actions of violence wreaked are not only can be seen in the movie. In reality they do have happened in our society. Worst of all, even the borrower’s family member will be involved into the actions of violence wreaked. We always come a cross lots of people saying that how miserable their life being threaten by Ah Long. But sadly people will still do it even they know what Ah Longs are capable of doing if they fail to settle their debts.
According to Ah long victims, Ah Longs will come to you in the right time to offer you some money while people facing financial problem. People definitely can say No to them and to find out the solution they can go to the licensed moneylenders.
I totally agree that cops want to prosecute Ah Long’s victims. Borrower also should find themselves prosecuted. It is good way to teach public a lesson. We should also have penalty for people who borrow money from Ah Longs. By having this implementation, people will afraid of the consequence of borrowing money with Ah Longs. I’m sure this can deter people who want to borrow money with Ah Longs.
Money is root of all evil. People are always complaining that they don’t have enough money to use. But borrow money from loan sharks is no the only way to solve your problem. Somehow it does create even more problems for the people. Before people want to borrow money with loan sharks I do hope that they will think about their safety of their family problem. A nice family can be destroying once you start to borrow money with Ah Longs. Please say “NO” to the Ah Longs.

well...for me,somebody is force to borrow money from ah longs since they fail to borrow money from others....somemore there r a lot of problem if borrow money fron d bank.....tats y ah longs so famous....
u know what? i think people are born naturally to be greedy, especially towards MONEY $$$....
People wouldn't feel enough money to use even thought they have more then enough to spend... is just because of the innate of being greedy, that's why created this Ah Longs, cause they wanted to earned more "profit" by charging them extra interest...
In short, is hard to control people in viewing the value of money. " You can do anything if you have the money, but you can't do anything without a single cent!"
but i think there are still others possible way to solve this problems, Ah Longs is not the best way after all...

ah long..6years ago my fren's dad, who was also an ah long, was killed by another ah long..b4 he died my fren n her whole family oways worried bout their dad..even ah long's families oso oways worry bout them, wht bout those who borrow fr ah long?
4 me, i think ppl tend 2 think dat good luck wil come 2 them..here i mean those who like 2 gamble.so they are willing 2 tk risk. ppl's mind are tend 2 be greedy..money is oways not enuf 4 them 2 spend..once they win some, automatically they want 2 win more n more.dats why ah long is oways being their "god" 2 win sumore. but they oways 4get dat good luck is not oways around them. they not even need 2 pay back 2 ah long the amount they borrow, but oso the high interest.
it's sad 2 see the news where the parents killed their children 4 the reason of owing 2 ah long. i think dat giving penalty 2 those who borrow fr ah long is not the best solution. the most important thing is 2 cure our mind.
